Role: Senior Project Manager Location: Columbus, OH Skills required: Project Management, Agile, COTS Solution Installation Please share resumes to pgo AT THE RATE OF Comtech-global DOT COM Complete Description: The Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager who will manage the implementation of a large COTS product. The candidate will need vendor management, cloud computing, change management, and risk management skills. This candidate will apply Agile principles and frameworks to guide and serve teams that deliver technology solutions. The candidates’ responsibilities will include facilitating team organization and project ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily scrums/stand-ups, sprint/iteration reviews/demos and retrospectives), coaching team members on Agile values/principles, such as collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and transparency, reporting and remove any impediments/distractions that interfere with the team's ability to deliver against their commitments. This person will create and adopt working agreements and definitions of done, to include the use of Agile tools, standards, and best practices. They will ensure the team tracks and communicates progress and reports metrics to the appropriate audiences. Their leadership will enable an environment of collaboration and creativity and empower the team to self-organize around achieving their commitments. They will be responsible for promoting quality practices to ensure components, services and applications delivered by the team meet performance expectations. Position Requirements: In this role, you will: • Manage a large COTS integration effort • Utilize Vendor Management Skills to ensure the Vendor is delivering quality on time • Utilize Change Management Skills to ensure any change to the contract is documented, agreed to, and signed off • Leads high-level planning sessions with the project team • Coordinates projects, consisting of varying sizes • Consistently mitigates project risks and optimizes resources and program effectiveness • Demonstrates and trains others on Agile best practices • Deliver commitments consistently and aligned with targeted project outcomes • Establish relationships within project teams and with cross-functional teams • Report blockers and impediments to project forward progress to Leadership Minimal Qualifications • 12+ years of Project Management • 10+ years utilizing project management tools • 5+ years of experience working in an agile framework • 5+ years of experience utilizing Agile tools to manage projects • 5+ years of managing vendor in large COTS solution installation • PMP Certification • Bachelor's degree in Business, or IT-related field Desired skills • 3+ years personal income tax experience • Master’s degree in business or project management
