Salesforce Environment Admin / DevOps Lead Position

Role: Salesforce Environment Admin / DevOps Lead Position Location: Columbus, OH Please share resumes to pgo AT THE RATE OF Comtechglobal DOT COM This is not a Salesforce Developer but rather, this is more of a Salesforce Environment Admin / DevOps who will be responsible for standing up Salesforce environments, maintaining them for us and building the documentation for hand off to Client operations. Description: Responsibilities: Works with client to define environment management processes that are aligned with country and company regulations and policies around change control practices, environment configurations / integrations, release management and backup and restore. Activities: • Define environment change control practices and encourage their adoption by appropriate support teams (development / deployment /operations) meaning that any change / release does not contain unapproved changes • Track all modifications to the environment, including configuration changes, adding or removing components or services to the environment and cloud infrastructure changes • Work with Technical Stakeholders to schedule required time of Front Office environments for non-Front Office testing needs (NOTE: Other programs (back office) will have requirements that require certain transactional data be pushed / created / received for their testing needs). Environment include but are not limited too: ○ SIT / E2E, UAT, Performance, Training, Staging and Pre-Production • Understand integration requirements and establish sufficient knowledge of Mulesoft and APIs to communicate with the required teams to resolve and issues. • Support Front-Office RAID management and follow Country Deployment process as needed. This may be in an ownership or supporting role capacity • Tag all components for release, and define the release configuration • Prepare a rollback plan and work with build / assembly Lead to have it integrated into each environment build / assembly plan • Define process for both environment back-up and restore and put each environment under proper change control • Work with Technical Stakeholders to conduct back-up and restore tests • Create a backup of the required environments and place the development environment under change control • Work with Deployment Build / assembly lead to support the business with the technology they require for training/testing • add a synchronization date/time stamp on all release files • Establish that the operations team is satisfied with this release and that there is an acceptance / sign-off process in place • Work with Cutover & PGLS Lead so that activities are properly captured for the Operations team to understand Ops transition activities that are needed and are completed for handover • Work with Technical Stakeholders to define non-functional requirements • Support Technical Stakeholders and performance test testers to develop Performance Test Approach and Plan • Work with test and automation teams to support planning and execution of Performance Test • Create batch processing schedule where applicable • Conduct batch schedule test if required
