Position Overview
An experienced consulting role with experience delivering business solutions in leading MDM technologies. The MDM Architect will act as a work-stream lead collecting and qualifying business requirements, designing the data model, and architecting batch and real-time integrations. This professional is technically proficient, business-facing, and the cornerstone of any project’s ability to execute.
Key Responsibilities
• Interface with clients and practice area managers to understand business and technology needs, propose solutions, and secure and deliver projects
• Key design lead in projects – gathers and qualifies functional and technical requirements
• Functions as lead solution architect – may collaborate with a dedicated architect in larger implementations
• Facilitate and lead meetings to ensure progress on solutions and products
• Performs data modeling and instantiation
• Designs and develops extensions, user exits, and composite web services for solution integration into client technology landscape
• Collaborates with test leads to document, plan, and execute solution testing
• Ensure adherence to established best practices, policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards
• Proactively identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Trains client personnel for solution adoption and transfer of ownership
• Make recommendations to clients as requested on best practices or long-term solutions to resolve current issues and also set them up for future satisfaction of system design
• Understand the work of the project teams at a sufficient level of detail to represent critical activities to clients and staff, to monitor for appropriate project progress, and to adjust plans as necessary

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
• Design, configuration, and development experience with Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere MDM Server, Stibo STEP, SAP Master Data Governance, or other “Information Management” platform (MDM, DQ, ETL, DG).
• Experience in data modelling (experience with Party and Counter-Party models would be a plus)
• Experience with the Java programming language and J2EE environments
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, especially Oracle
• Exposure to web application servers, such as Websphere, WebLogic, and JBoss
• Skills with Unix at a user level are a plus
• Understanding of data integration, both real-time and batch
• Understanding of data quality and governance solutions
• Comfortable leading client workshops and design sessions
• Business vertical experience is a plus: Healthcare, Insurance / FinServ, Retail, Manufacturing
• ERP and CRM experience is a plus: SFDC, Netsuite, SAP
• U.S. candidates must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Must be willing to travel up to 50%
