Systems Administrator – Content Management Expert

Role: Systems Administrator – Content Management Expert Location: Columbus, OH – 2-3 days of on-site work. Rest is remote. Please share resumes to pgo AT THE RATE OF Comtech-global DOT COM Basic Functions: The Enterprise Content Administrator is responsible for providing continued implementation, and support for the Enterprise Content Management System, Hyland OnBase, Microsoft SharePoint, and other systems that house contact. Tasks include developing new workflows as needed, training, and importing content from various departments as they are integrated into the system. Essential Functions: 1. Serve as the in-house “expert” responsible for analysis, design, workflows, support, and testing of Hyland OnBase, Microsoft SharePoint, and other content systems. 2. Work with Senior IT leadership to define and maintain enterprise content management strategy, including recommendations document management systems to use. 3. Understand how system will be implemented as a document management system, a records management system, and a workflow tool. 4. Must have ability to work across departments and functional teams to implement and support an enterprise system. 5. Coordinate and facilitate the import of data currently stored on file shares and other media into the enterprise content system. 6. Collaborate with the network/client/server teams and consultants as needed to resolve problems, and take appropriate corrective action(s) to ensure systems are operating correctly and within established operational and functional SLA’s. 7. Collaborate with Oracle resources and internal Oracle support teams to coordinate integration between Oracle and enterprise content system. 8. Participate in assigned projects according to the IT project management methodology, procedures, and processes. 9. Provide user support for day-to-day use of the OnBase, Microsoft SharePoint and other content systems. 10. Work with network and server teams to ensure performance and availability meet or exceed established service level standards. 11. Weekend and off-peak hours implementations are part of the work duties, and some after-hours calls may occur. 12. Identifies process improvements and develops business cases for new investments. 13. Actively participates in technical and business innovation efforts to make best use of OnBase, SharePoint and other content systems. 14. Provides expert systems development advice and leadership to various teams and management personnel. 15. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Breakdown: • 65% Hyland OnBase ECM system support • 30% Microsoft SharePoint • 5% Other content systems • Travel required at times Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications: 1. A four-year computer science, information systems or engineering degree preferred; or, seven (7) years of directly related experience. 2. Areas of expertise must include, but are not limited to: Design, integration, management, and maintenance of enterprise content type servers. 3. Should have knowledge of: a. Client/server processes b. VMware c. Windows d. Document or enterprise content management systems e. Microsoft SQL 4. Must demonstrate knowledge of: f. Backup and recovery Hardware/Software infrastructure g. Disaster recovery best practices h. Database backup and recovery (MS SQL) 5. Must have a keen sense of system integration requirements and industry trends and assist in translating those trends and requirements into project deliverables. 6. Must be a detail and process oriented, innovative, self-starting, hands-on technology professional that is able to work with minimal supervision. 7. Willingness to perform tasks required to ensure published service level agreements are met.
