Project Manager - Dauphin County

This project manager will provide professional, educational, research, and administrative support of a lead nature related to the implementation of the Pennsylvania Educator Workforce Strategy. The work conducted by this position will support the efforts of the Office of Postsecondary and Higher Education (OPHE) Bureau of School Leadership and Teacher Quality (BSLTQ). More specifically, this position will support three areas of focus: (1) PDE cross-agency implementation; (2) Chapter 49 implementation; and (3) Chapter 354 regulatory update. AREAS OF FOCUS PDE CROSS-AGENCY IMPLEMENTATION The position will assist PDE with the following: ? Support implementation of the Educator Workforce Strategy across deputates, bureaus, and divisions ? Coordinate internal meetings ? Plan meetings and prepare materials for engagement with external partners ? Moderate meetings and take notes ? Facilitate reports and coordinate resulting products CHAPTER 49 IMPLEMENTATION The position will assist PDE with the following: ? Support implementation of the amendments to Chapter 49: Certification of Professional Personnel regulations ? Coordinate internal meetings with relevant deputates, bureaus, and divisions ? Prepare materials for engagement with external partners ? Facilitate reports and coordinate resulting products CHAPTER 354 REGULATORY UPDATE SUPPORT ? Coordinate internal meetings with relevant deputates, bureaus, and divisions ? In consultation with PDE leadership, coordinate meetings, listening sessions, and other activities with regulated entities ? Prepare materials for engagement with external partners ? Prepare materials that synthesize and inform the Secretary of Education’s recommendations to update the Chapter 354 regulatory review ? Ensure alignment between Chapter 354 and final amendments to Chapter 49: Certification of Professional Personnel regulations ? Facilitate reports and coordinate resulting products
