SAP, Maintenance Programs Assistant

Role: SAP, Maintenance Programs Assistant Location: Cumberland County, PA We are seeking a resource with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in at least two (2) of the following fields: 1. Fleet Management 2. Roadway Programs Management 3. Emergency Operations 4. Budgeting Must also have a valid PA Driver’s License. Preferred skills/competencies include: • Strategic Thinking/Planning • Operational Management • Roadway Maintenance Programs Management • Decision Making and Independent Judgement • Mechanical Capacity, Knowledge and/or Experience • Communication Proficiency • Quality Control • Active Listening • Customer Service • Innovation • Leadership • Technical Capacity • Computer skill as necessary o Office 365 Suite o SAP, S4 HANA or comparable • Analtyical Thinking • Attention to Detail Position Duties: The selected Candidate should be able to perform the following duties when called upon: • Coordinates with maintenance programs management regularly to ensure needs are met for maintenance operations and develops solutions when problems arise. • Serves as a liaison between Maintenance programs team and other departments to ensure the smooth coordination of projects and to track and forecast labor, equipment, and material needs to perform operations. • Assists with the development, and review, of the maintenance operating and capital budgets. Represents the Maintenance Department at executive capital plan meetings. • Assists with creation of materials, training, and implementation of new programs introduced to the Maintenance Department. • Assist with planning and organizing the Maintenance Fleet unit operations and staff functions including organization of work assignments and review of work product. • Assists with the equipment disposal process including the identification of surplus or obsolete equipment. Makes recommendations for the maintenance, disposal and/or replacement of fleet. • Assists with the equipment acquisition process including developing specifications for new equipment, accepting delivery of new equipment and distributing equipment to field locations. • Assists with the processing and receipt of new equipment for the PTC to ensure compliance with specifications and completion of required paperwork. • Monitors the requirements of federal and state legislation concerning the operation of vehicles and equipment. • Assists with evaluating existing, new, and experimental equipment. • Uses situational awareness to anticipate and prevent accidents. • Performs related duties as assigned.
